Last year’s hugely successful (minus all the rain) Identity Festival is returning this year with dates in July and August.
The initial lineup has been released and includes; Eric Prydz, Wolfgang Gartner, Le Castle Vania, Bingo Players, Excision, Porter Robinson, Nero (DJ set), Madeon, Paul Van Dyk, Showtek, Arty, Doctor P and Noisia. Expect more artists to be announced shortly.
Tickets are on sale now and for some cities, the early bird $25 tickets are still available. This is a must see event because of the rare opportunity to see Eric Prydz, who has a serious phobia of flying and is making a special US appearance.
Tickets and more info available here. All dates after the jump.

Miike Snow, on the strength of two records and a hit song, sold out three nights at Terminal 5. At the end of their first show in New York, the question was not how they managed to sell 9,000 tickets but what bigger venue will hold them next.
Miike Snow tend to keep things a tad mysterious but have definitely let the veil of secrecy drop a bit. Still donning masks to start the show — gold, this time, instead of the white half-masks that they used previously — it hard to not recognize the members of the band or their great achievements. Most fans know the Grammy-winning production duo of Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg (who go by Bloodshy and Avant), and, of course, lead singer Andrew Wyatt.
More of the review including the setlist and photos after the jump.

DFA is now offering a discounted From The Cradle to the Rave “Value Pack” — the album in 2-LP and also CD format, plus a Shit Robot pin.
He’s also announced two new US dates: May 25 in San Francisco and July 1 in Chicago, with more to come.

German house duo Modeselektor turned Bowery Ballroom into one large dance party. Fans were there for one reason, to hear great electronic music and dance, and that they did.
Modeselektor were the perfect hosts and Bowery Ballroom was the perfect venue for this soiree. After playing the sweaty dance tents of Coachella, the intimate confines of the Ballroom really enhanced the many great qualities of Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary. By the end of the night, fans were doused in champagne and sweat thanks to Modeselektor.
